Do we vaccinate our sheep?
Yes. We vaccinate as required to protect flock health and prevent avoidable disease. Preventative health is part of responsible livestock management.
Do we use antibiotics?
Yes — when necessary for the health and welfare of an individual animal.
We do not blanket dose. Antibiotics are only given if clinically required, and we always follow strict withdrawal periods before milk is made available.
Do we use pain relief?
Yes. If an animal requires treatment (for example mastitis), appropriate pain relief is given alongside veterinary care. Animal welfare always comes first.
Do you use hormones?
No. We do not use additional hormones in our flock.
What are the sheep fed?
Our sheep are primarily pasture-fed and receive locally sourced hay and haylage. Supplemental feed, when required, is supplied by ForFarmers.
Can I ask more detailed questions?
Absolutely. We believe transparency matters. If you would like more detail about our husbandry practices, please contact us directly and we will be happy to discuss.
